Gateway Digital Campus
Powering Franklin County’s Future
Gateway represents more than just a high-end digital campus; it is the largest economic development initiative in the history of Franklin County, designed to propel the local economy for decades to come. The project provides substantial local benefits while intentionally preserving the rural character and natural beauty that define the community.
The Gateway Digital Campus will provide long-term stability for the Villa Ridge local economy.
- $50M+ in New Tax Revenue: Direct funding for Franklin County schools, police, fire departments, and parks.
- 3,000+ New Jobs: Creating 2,000 construction jobs, 750 local service-sector jobs and 250 permanent, high-paying positions.
Our Commitment to the Environment & Landscape
We know that Villa Ridge residents value the rural character and scenic landscape. We have designed the Gateway Digital Campus to ensure it respects and preserves the shared natural surroundings.
Protecting Our Water
We hear the community's questions regarding water usage. Gateway will have minimal impact on the community’s water supply, consuming only a small amount of water comparable at full build-out, the entire site will use less water than 54 average homes. We use state-of-the-art closed loop cooling and do not use industrial water cooling that taxes local aquifers.
Preserving Green Space & The View
We aren’t just building a facility; we are improving and preserving the local landscape. By dedicating 50% of our site to a natural buffer, we are ensuring that views from the Shaw Nature Reserve and Desloge Estates remain protected and beautiful. While the campus may be partially visible from Route 66, our buildings are designed as a high-end, modern professional campus that serves as a visually appealing addition to the county.
Maintaining the Quiet of Franklin County
By establishing 1,000-foot residential setbacks, 2 to 5 times the industry standard, we ensure that sound levels at the Desloge Estates and Shaw Nature Reserve borders do not increase. We are committed to being a quiet, distant neighbor.
