FESTUS

A Stronger Future for Festus Starts Here

Bringing data center investment to Festus will generate an estimated 30-40 million dollars in new tax revenue each year, providing transformational benefits to the City of Festus, the Festus R-6 School District, Jefferson College, the Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District, and Jefferson County. Additionally, a multi-year data center buildout would result in an average of more than 1,000 high paying union construction jobs, and a data center would employ an estimated 200-300 permanent operational jobs.

Data centers pay their full share of energy costs, as required by Missouri law, so they don’t raise rates for local residents. They’re also strictly regulated to protect our land, water, and wildlife, ensuring Festus remains a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Beyond the local benefits, these facilities power the technology our hospitals use to deliver better care, the tools our farmers rely on to boost their yields, and the innovation that helps America stay competitive with China and secure on the world stage.

This is about creating opportunity right here in America’s heartland, and right here in Festus.
